I like clown fish but I can’t pick out my favorite one. I like the Percula Clown fish because of the coloring. I like the thick black lines that defines the white from the black and makes the orange pop. Also because they are not as agressive as some of the others.
Then there is the Tomato clownfish with the sweet personality. It can get along with more different kinds of clown fish than the rest. Also their coloring is neat with only the one white stripe and the red to dark red bodies. They are so easy to breed that all you need is a mated pair and plenty of live rock and you have a happy family.
The Black & White Ocelliars Clownfish are beautiful with there black little bodies with the bright white stripe. Some of them have a cute little spot of orange around their mouths. How can I decide.
All of them are so cute when they are darting in and out of the anemone’s. I don’t know if I could chance it when those are so hard to keep alive and to make them thrive in a home tank. I do believe I need help. Do they have a clownfish awareness program to help with this problem.
The only thing that I know for sure is I love them.
Just make sure if you get yourself one that you check out the attitude that some of them have. I have a Gold Stripe Maroon and she is very pissy for a lack of better words. She thinks that she rules the tank. Also when I put my hand in the tank to clean it she will bite.
